Policy Summary-ASHCHURCH PLAYGROUP
Summary of policies
All staff have been registered and police checked with ofsted and will have a current first aid certificate and attend regular training which enables staff to develop a wide varied range of skills.
Each child will have a special member of staff to relate to which will make settling into playgroup much easier. The key worker will maintain a link with the child’s home setting. Working with you to ensure that your child is supported to achieve their full potential.
Children do not have to be toilet trained when starting playgroup however there is no routine nappy change during the session. Your child will only be changed if their nappy is soiled. Nappies and wipes must be provided in a named bag.
Security: We would like to be informed by a parent if anyone different will be collecting your child. A password system will be in place where there is a family password and no one will be allowed to take the child from our care unless they know the child’s password
Children who are ill, have an infection or contagious disease, will be excluded from playgroup until fully recovered. This is for the sake of the other children in our care and in the best interest of the ill child. Children who have suffered from any sickness or diarrhoea should have been cleared from this for 72 hours before returning. We would be grateful if you could notify us as soon as possible if your child is not coming in.
As the playgroup is closed on bank holidays and for all school holidays, there is no fees payable for these times. However fees are payable if your child is absent from nursery due to sickness or holidays.
If you wish to remove your child from playgroup we require one months notice in writing.
